Alpha

A very successful Alpha course was held earlier this year — January to March 2015. This was a Greater Alton Project initiative, (For more information about the Greater Alton Project, please look at the other pages under the GAP tab.

There were over 30 participants and a large number of volunteers (Methodist and Anglicans) working hard together to make sure that everything went well. Using the excellent and flexible premises at Alton Methodist Church, all those taking part enjoyed great food, lively discussion and though provoking presentations led by Andrew, David and Keith.

The Holy Spirit Away-Day was held at the nearby Alton Abbey and was an inspirational time.

The dates of our next Alpha Course have already been fixed, with the Alpha ‘taster’ evening taking place on Thursday 3rd December 2015 at 7:30pm and the course itself running from Thursday 7th January through to Tuesday 24th March 2016.
